When the news stated to filter out about the Jets potentially being involved in next season’s Heritage Classic it immediately spawned the conversation about who would be participating in the alumni game. It wasn’t even confirmed until early December that they were in but that didn’t stop the speculation.
Worth noting that an alumni game wasn’t even mentioned as potentially part of the festivities.
This will be the third time Winnipeg has been involved and the second time they’ve hosted in Manitoba. Back in 2016 they played the Oilers with both an alumni game and a regular season contest. In 2019 when they took on the Flames in Regina it was just a regular season one.
Today the team announced ticket information for fans and also provided a preliminary roster.
