Winnipeg Jets prospect defenceman Leon Gawanke joining Manitoba Moose training camp

Jets 2017 5th rounder Leon Gawanke, who played his first season pro in 2019-20 with the Manitoba Moose, is back in the fold with the AHL club after being in quarantine for the last few weeks.  He spent the start of the 2020-21 season playing for his hometown team the Polar Bears in Berlin.  He had a very good rookie campaign with Manitoba earning praise from head coach Pascal Vincent when the season concluded.  Gawanke is joining the team today according to Moose Manager of Hockey Communications & Broadcaster Daniel Fink.
