The Jets are coming off a very disappointing loss last night as the Ducks handled them rather easily on way to a 4-1 win. It should be particularly disappointing as the team they are chasing (Kraken) lost in regulation which meant their would have been just three points back of them. Instead the gap remains five points and they now have one less game on their schedule.

Skate news:

Most practices will be optional for the remainder of the season but this one was well attended, likely because they took their team picture before it got underway. So there were 14 players skating plus goalie Eric Comrie. Practice goalie Jason Kasdorf also took part.
