The Jets are coming off a 2-1 shootout loss to the Panthers last night and held an optional practice as they get set to face a very good Red Wings team. Detroit is coming off a 4-3 loss in OT to Minnesota.

Before skate got underway the team announced they had loaned Danny Zhilkin and Isaak Phillips to the Moose who play this evening against the Red Wings affiliate Griffins (who are the top team in the AHL). We spoke with both players after morning skate at hockey for all centre which you can watch. Zhilkin here and Phillips here.

On the ice today were Logan Stanley, Elias Salomonsson, Tanner Pearson, Morgan Barron, Gustav Nyquist and Cole Koepke. Only goalie was Eric Comrie.
