Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets put a tough OT loss behind them and look ahead to the Oilers.

The Jets looked poised to start the turnaround with a regulation win against the Wild yesterday in Winnipeg but a non-call against Josh Morrissey and a call against Dylan DeMelo opened the door to Minnesota tying the game. They won quickly in OT to steal a big point from a team that desperately needs all the points it can get.

No time to lament what was as they have to turn their focus to an Oilers team that will be in Winnipeg tomorrow night looking to get back on track after a loss to the Flames on Saturday in a Battle of Alberta. The only good news for the home team is that the visitors have not been very consistent away from their home province with a 9-11-3 record (compared to their 10-3-3 home record at Rogers Place).
