Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets hit the ice for the final practice of the regular season.

The Jets picked up their seventh straight victory on Tuesday night as they defeated the Kraken 4-3 which allowed them to clinch home-ice advantage over the Avalanche in their upcoming first round series which will start in Winnipeg (when we still don’t know). The win didn’t come without a cost however as they did lose Morgan Barron in the first period to a lower-body injury. Rick Bowness said he would be evaluated today.

Skate news:

All the healthy scratches are skating today as are Nikolaj Ehlers and Nino Niederreiter.

Tomorrow’s lineup:

As per head coach Rick Bowness all the healthy scratches will play on Thursday so that means Cole Perfetti, David Gustafsson, Rasmus Kupari, Colin Miller and Nate Schmidt. He also confirmed that Laurent Brossoit starts. He wouldn’t say whether they’ll make a recall from the Moose given tonight’s game in Milwaukee has playoff implications.

Health news:

Rick Bowness confirmed that Morgan Barron will not play tomorrow. He is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
