The Jets took Sunday off as they get set for a week that will see them practice (three) more than they play (once) over the next five days. That is not something we’ve seen very much given this team has had one full team practice in 2024.

Health update:
Associate coach Scott Arniel advised that head coach Rick Bowness was away from the team today as his wife Judy had surgery which Arniel indicated went great. (Murat Ates of The Athletic Winnipeg advised it was shoulder surgery) .
He indicated that Nikolaj Ehlers was out for maintenance. “Would like to think he’s back in tomorrow. More maintenance.”. Jets centre Mark Scheifele remains “day-to-day”. And he wouldn’t say if Kyle Connor would be an option for the game tomorrow. “Wait till tomorrow morning…..see how’s he doing tomorrow and go from there.”
