The Jets will head out on the road for three games after winning twice and losing once during their three-game homestand including a somewhat unexpectedly thrilling OT win over the Hurricanes last night.
Pre-skate news:
As per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets indicated that “Dylan DeMelo and Logan Stanley went for a skate” before they main group hit the ice. DeMelo we know is dealing with an upper-body injury and the coaching staff is hopeful he’ll play on this trip. Stanley is a bit more curious as he has been out since end of October with a slight foot-fracture which was pegged as gonna take a couple of weeks to heal but is now in the three week range.
Skate news:
Mitch also reporting that Morgan Barron is skating in his non-contact uniform as he continues to recover from wrist surgery. He is still considered “aways away” as per head coach Rick Bowness from yesterday’s pre-game media availability.
