Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

Following a big win over the Wild the Jets return to the ice for practice.

The Jets are coming off a massive win over the Wild as they try to scratch and claw their way back into the playoff race following the All-Star break. It will still be a tall hill to climb as they sit seven points back of the Flames who have the second wild card spot currently (with one game in hand).

Skate news:

As per Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet a pair of players are wearing yellow, non-contact jerseys in Logan Stanley and David Gustafsson. for what he calls an optional practice. According to Sara Orlesky of TSN not skating today are Nate Schmidt, Blake Wheeler, Paul Stastny, Kyle Connor, Andrew Copp and Josh Morrissey.

Health news:

Logan Stanley and David Gustafsson will both be on the road trip with the Jets according to interim head coach Dave Lowry although he didn’t confirm that Stanley would be ready to play.
