We are still waiting to hear Jets roster ahead of the 2021 season including the news of a one-year deal Trevor Lewis is expected to sign (Update: he’s signed) and the roster/taxi squad configurations. Update: Here is the 21 man roster with the five player taxi squad. The Jets also assigned 2019 1st rounder Ville Heinola and 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti had been assigned to the Manitoba Moose. Dominic Toninato, who was seen as a likely taxi squad member, was designated for long term injured reserve.

Nikolaj Ehlers was missing due to CPRA (covid protocols related absence) according to head coach Paul Maurice. Ted Wyman indicated that Copp took Ehlers spot and Vesalainen moved into Copp’s spot.
