Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets completed their three-game homestand with a 1-1-1 record which included a 2-1 overtime defeat last night to the Predators.  It won’t be an easy solo game on the road as they take on division rival Blues who are 18-4-4 at home in St. Louis.

Pre-Skate News:

The Jets recalled winger Andrei Chibisov up from the Moose for the first time.  They also announced that they have reassigned defenceman Cam Schilling back to Manitoba.

Skate News:

According to Murat Ates of The Athletic Winnipeg all healthy forwards and defencemen are present and accounted for.  And he also indicates Bryan Little is also present in a non-contact jersey.  Murat also provides the line rushes listed below.

Bourque-Shore-Shaw. Chibisov is working in on line 4.

Kyle Connor on the team playing better defence and it leading to scoring opportunities, where is the sense the team is at today and what he expects from the Blues tomorrow night.

Nathan Beaulieu on getting activated and his looking forward to the opportunity ahead, whether he knows if he is playing and what can he bring if he plays?

Coach Maurice:  Making the decision on whether to put Beaulieu back into the lineup or not.  Why the recall of Andrei Chibisov?  Tough divisional stretch, what does he take from Saturday’s game?  Is he comfortable with Scheifele facing the best from the other teams.  The upcoming schedule.  More on the challenge for the game vs the Blues.  What Beaulieu brings.  His concern with the power play?  Giving his first unit plenty of opportunity on the power play.  What did he learn about Chibisov in training camp?
