Following last night’s 3-1 loss to the Habs the Jets held an optional today before they leave for four games on the road starting with the Hawks in Chicago.

Practice Notes:

As per Austin Siragusa of Global News defenceman Josh Morrissey was taking part in the optional skate in a yellow non-contact jersey.  He also indicated that goalie Laurent Brossoit was working with goalie coach Wade Flaherty.

Up Next:

The Jets kick off the final regular season road trip with the first game of a back-to-back tomorrow night in Monday against the Hawks in Chicago. Be sure to keep it locked to for the AM Papers which go live at 7 AM followed by our pre-game report at 9:30 AM.

Another busy day for Jets, Moose and Ice news on

Ensure you are up-to-date before we start all over again tomorrow morning.

The Winnipeg Ice have found their captain for the 2022-23 season and it will be Winnipegger Carson Lambos who just got back from Minnesota Wild camp.

The team also announced the rest of their leadership group.

The Jets may be off but the Moose were not.

Following skate Jets 2021 1st rounder Chaz Lucius spoke as did Simon Kubicek.
