Following a tough 5-2 loss to the Habs last night the Jets are back in business today in Ottawa.
Practice News:
Jets held an optional and the only players on the ice according to Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press were “Lemieux, Copp, Appleton, Roslovic, Laine and Trouba. They’re joined by healthy scratches Niku and Petan, and injured players Morrissey and Ehlers. Plus Brossoit.”

Coach Maurice: Reflections on last night’s game. Will Brossoit go tomorrow? Anything else stand out from last night’s game? Why has the group been so good at bouncing back? Thoughts on the new power play configuration? Using Appleton with Little/Laine. Is there a temptation to put Laine with Scheifele/Wheeler? Putting Perreault with Laine. Does he look at this (Laine stuggles) like an opportunity for growth? How does he approach things with Laine? On the top line. Motivation of 26/55. Ehlers update. Niku status?

Health Update:
On Nikolaj Ehlers status “The window will be open I think in about seven or eight days. He’s gonna skate now. He’s touching the puck today with the group for the first time. He’s on pace. There is not alot of room on this one. We are gonna wait a certain amount of time and then see where he’s at.”
Goalie Plan:
Laurent Brossoit will get the start tomorrow against the Senators.
