The Jets are on the ice today at Bell MTS Place after a day off on Friday to get ready for their six-game homestand beginning tomorrow night with a game against Carolina. The Hurricanes play tonight against the Wild so the Jets will have the benefit of playing a hot opponent (3-0-1) on the end of a back to back.
Practice Notes:
From Jamie Thomas of Jets TV no Jacob Trouba skating today but Nic Petan makes his return to the ice. The below lines and D pairs also come via Jamie.

Coach Maurice: Coming off an intense game and preparing for tomorrow. Themes to work on. Status of Byfuglien. Status of Trouba. Update on Petan? On when Brossoit may make a start? Does he like what he has seen from Brossoit in pratice? When does Petan become a roster player? Thoughts on Ehlers. What can the 2nd line do to be dangerous 5 on 5? Has Kulikov picked up? How the PK responded since Dallas? Are they taking away the shots they wanted to?
