The Jets are back on the ice today following a big 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.  After dispatching the top team in the entire NHL the Jets now have to deal with the top team in the Western Conference when Vegas rolls into town for a game tomorrow night.

The Jets home dominance continues to be the story this season as they and Vegas are the top teams when it comes to their home barns.  Overall the Jets are 18-3-1 at Bell MTS Place and have won seven straight in Winnipeg.  A breakdown of how they have done within the friendly confines of Bell MTS Place:

October: 3W 2L
November: 5W 0L 1OTL
December: 6W 1L
January: 4W

Practice Notes:

Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg  Sun reporting that Mark Scheifele in a yellow non-contact uniform and that Dmitry Kulikov is wearing a regular jersey.  Tobias Enstrom not skating today.

Health Updates:

Coach Maurice indicated that Mark Scheifele is “on track” but will stay in a non-contact for a week.  The Jets bench boss confirmed that Dmitry Kulikov had suffered a concussion and was cleared for full contact today and would be evaluated tomorrow to see if he plays against Vegas.  Coach also confirmed Tobias Enstrom, who didn’t skate today, is fine and will play tomorrow.

Coach Maurice:  On Scheifele getting out there with the team.  Status of Kulikov?  Status of Enstrom?  How much has he watched what Vegas has done this season?  Did Kulikov have a concussion?  On teams loading up a line.  Were the players minutes where he liked them to be?  Is Adam Lowry more valuable on the penalty kill and does he anticipate not putting him back on the power play right away?  What is the biggest area of growth in Tanev’s game this season?  The return of Mike Fisher to the Predators.
