Winnipeg Jets Playoff Practice Report

The Jets held an optional as they get set for game 2.

The Jets picked up a big win last night over the Blues in game one of their best of seven series taking the game 5-3.

Skate news:

We knew according to our IC correspondent that Gabriel Vilardi was skating in a yellow, non-contact jersey today. As per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press the guys who played last night that were skating were Luke Schenn, Logan Stanley, Morgan Barron, David Gustafsson, Jaret Anderson-Dolan as well as the heathy scratches (sans Ville Heinola). He also indicated Rasmus Kupari was skating in a regular jersey.

Health update:

Scott Arniel indicated that Ville Heinola is dealing with something so they kept him off the ice. He indicated that Rasmus Kupari is cleared for a return but he’ll need some time to get up and running. No update on Gabriel Vilardi basically saying he’ll discuss him when he switches to a different jersey.
