Note: Four players, Viggo Björck, Danny Zhilkin, Tyrel Bauer and Isaak Phillips, were representing the Jets when they attended the NHL’s Player Orientation Program in Virginia last week. According to NHL PR, the program is intended to “help young NHL players navigate life as professional hockey players.”
Note II: Hope folks enjoy the long weekend. Tomorrow, we’ll be back to interviewing Jets players ahead of NHL training camp, which gets underway in mid-September. While Connor Hellebuyck will be a big focus of the conversation, there will be plenty to discuss after a busy summer away from Winnipeg.
