Note: The Jets and Oilers wrapped up Winnipeg’s home portion of the exhibition schedule last night, with Edmonton earning an overtime win. The Jets have the day off today.
Note II: While Winnipeg has the day off the ice, there should still be some news. The Jets are expected to assign a number of players to the Moose as they trim their 46-player camp roster to a much more manageable number.
Note III: The Moose have one more day of training camp before heading to St. Paul on Thursday for two games in two days against the Iowa Wild. We’ll have coverage of all things antlers, so keep it locked here.
Note IV: With some of the prospects back in the CHL, it was time to check in on how their seasons have started. We had highlights from a pair of prospects, including Noa Ta’amu (2026 7th) in the WHL, who scored a nice goal in his first game of the season and delivered an even more impressive hit. Meanwhile, Alexandre Taillefer (2026 5th) had two assists in the QMJHL, including one on the game-winning goal.

Winnipeg Sun: Zhilkin motivated to stick with the big boys. Here is a player who can sense the opportunity ahead of him. He worked really hard during the offseason to get ready for it which included him gaining 10 pounds and he feels “stronger, faster, more powerful.”
