Note: Most of the Jets hit the ice Sunday for practice in Winnipeg, with Gabriel Vilardi the lone absence as he took a maintenance day according to head coach Scott Arniel. The team then departed for Detroit, where it will open a short two-game road trip this afternoon against the Red Wings. Stay tuned for the pre-game report to get up to speed on the latest. Note III: The Moose opened the 2026-27 season on a high note with a 3-0 win over Chicago, getting a shutout from Domenic DiVincentiis and plenty of contributions from a young, prospect-heavy lineup. Manitoba will look to carry that momentum into this afternoon’s rematch with the Wolves as the two teams wrap up their season-opening two-game set. Puck drop is at 2 PM CT.
