Note: The Jets are done. The Moose are done. We will still try to get you anything relevant to the pro hockey clubs of Manitoba during the next little bit. Of course the big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection. We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg at the end of June.
Note II: Over at the World Championship, folks saw Robert Thomas skating on a line with Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi. Of course this seemed to get folks excitement level rising about the prospect of the duo convincing the Blues centre of his need to relocate to Manitoba.

Sportsnet: Ranking the top 45 prospects for the NHL Draft. In the 8th overall position he has a player that Jets fans are quickly becoming familiar with as a number of analysts have suggested he’ll be taken here. That is 6’3 right-shot defenceman Daxon Rudolph of the Prince Albert Raiders.
