Note III: The Jets are down to just one RFA, as defenceman Tyrel Bauer has yet to sign a new contract. It’ll be interesting to see whether they consider a Johnny Kovacevic-type deal, one with a bit more term in the hope of discouraging a waiver claim.
Note IV: On Tuesday the Moose signed former Winnipeg Ice forward Mikey Milne and defenceman Evan Nause to one-year contracts. Milne appeared in one NHL game with the Wild in 2024-25 after starring with the Ice. Nause is a Panthers 2nd round pick from 2021 who spent the last couple of seasons in the ECHL.
