Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Selling, buying or standing pat all intriguing options for the Jets. (Paywall). This headline made me think of the 80s movie Trading Places when the Duke brothers hold onto the frozen concentrated orange juice futures contracts for too long and then are yelling “sell sell sell” to no avail. The next few weeks will sort out exactly what type of position Winnipeg will be in when the trade deadline comes around.

Winnipeg Sun: Byfuglien’s surprise, Maurice’s extremes and Wheeler’s faith. Paul with some quick hits on 33, the former Jets bench boss and the past captain still believing in his old squad despite their present circumstances.

Winnipeg Sun: Connor Hellebuyck recalls early love for goaltending. Good story by Josh on goalies across the NHL on how they got into the most difficult position in hockey.

Global News: Winnipeg Jets need to extend Logan Stanley’s stay with the team. If the Jets are going to extend him it has to be done before the trade deadline. If they are not going to retain him then they have to trade him as his value has never been higher.
