Note: The majority of Jets are off on their Olympic break. The ones over in Italy won’t start playing until February 12th.

Note II: The Moose are on their AHL All-Star break with the exception of Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic who is in Rockford. The skills competition is tonight which you can watch on TSN or FloHockey and the game is on Wednesday.

Global News: Will Winnipeg Jets fans still care after the Olympics? I initially read that headline as “Will they care about the Olympics?’ and I was rather confused reading the article and trying to reconcile that with what Cam wrote. My misreading aside, he wonders about the stretch run when this team is playing things out. And if they do what’s best both short term and long, which is sell the vets and give the kids a chance, I think it will engage folks as they see what they can do with a 15-20 game run in the NHL ahead of next season.
