Note II: We will be hearing from Winnipeg head coach Scott Arniel this morning at 10:30 AM CT and GM Kevin Cheveldayoff at 11:30 AM CT. Keep it locked here and to our YouTube channel.

Note III: Playoff hockey is around the corner for the Manitoba Moose who will play host to the Milwaukee Admirals in the first round. All three games will be played here in Winnipeg starting on Wednesday (tickets on sale here). The AHL club will hit the ice today and tomorrow for practice so stay tuned for all the latest.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ Lowry, Perfetti determined for team to come back stronger next season. (Paywall). When you think of it these two, especially Lowry, were so far behind the rest of their teammates when it came to running the same race. And when we heard from them both on Friday each said they likely pushed to come back too early.

Sportsnet: Jets need to overhaul top-heavy roster. The lack of depth was evident especially when so many players had down seasons.

Moose news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Moose gear up for road to Calder Cup. (Paywall). With no more NHL the attention turns to the AHL.

Jets audio:

Illegal Curve Hockey Show: Saturday PodcastWe reacted to the players comments made from them, cover the latest on the Moose who play their final pair of game of the regular season tonight, provide the latest prospect updates and more. Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press spent the first hour with us breaking it all down.
