Winnipeg Free Press:  Dane-o-mite.  Ed looks at the impact Ehlers has had after five days at camp.  He also discusses the other slick players at camp, net depth chart, size isn’t everything, a makeover on the rock and a bit more on Evander.

Winnipeg Free Press:  GM refuses to fan trade-rumour flames.  Wasn’t expecting the Jets GM to say anything other than what he did when addressing the topic with the media.

Winnipeg Sun:  Ehlers among Jets prospects drawing rave reviews at development camp.  Once he got over the jet lag he has had Jets fans salivating at the displays of skill he put on at the IcePlex.

Winnipeg Sun:  GM Kevin Cheveldayoff still evading questions about Evander Kane. Paul talks about the reluctance of Cheveldayoff to address the issue.  Also writes about Ehlers eating and undrafted Minnesota native Ben Walker.

NHL.com:  Jets building for future, with or without Kane.  Patrick writes about the tough central division and the plans for this team moving forward.

CBC:  GM won’t add fuel to Kane trade rumours.   If there is one thing the Jets GM is going to do it won`t be to weaken his position by airing any dirty laundry via the press.

Is there a greater interest from college kids in the camps?
