CBC:  Youngest Zajac lives up to family name at Jets development camp.  There are three Zajac boys that currently rep NJ Devils colours but the youngset son is looking to buck that trend and wear his local team’s jersey.  Jeff has this story on the development of the Winnipeg native and how his drive and compete level continues to propel him forward.

Day 4 of Development Camp Replay:

Illegal Curve:  Tucker Poolman (audio).  Does he expect to be an impact player in his first year in the NCAA?  What are keys to his game?  What does he take from a camp like this?  Is all the talent on the ice intimidating or motivating?  A confidence coming from seeing how far he has already grown?  What has been the best part of the week?

Illegal Curve:  Ryan Olsen (audio).  The week thus far.  Good barometer when he comes back to camp to see where his game is at?  What kinds of things have the team told him as he tries to take next steps?  What has been his favourite part of the week?  What is the talent pool like on the ice?  Does it push him harder?

Illegal Curve:  Nolan Zajac (audio).  What does the camp mean for someone in his situation?  Where is he at with his game?  Where does he see his game?  Youngest of the Zajac boys (all Devils property) so how did he not end up as a goalie?  How would he describe his game?  The influence of his brothers and what they’ve taught him as he develops.  What will he take from this week?  Does it give him a different perspective playing against high level talent?

Illegal Curve:  Karson Kuhlman (audio).  His thoughts four days into camp.  His thoughts on the talent on the ice.  Looking around a bit?  What was it like to get the invite?  How did he find out?  Did he know anything about Winnipeg before coming up here?  What was his mind frame coming into his first pro camp?  A lot to take in?  What does he want to focus on at this camp?  Does he have something to prove?  On being a competitive player?  What does he want to work on for his game?  What does he think when he see’s himself in Jets gear?  Heading to University of Minnesota-Duluth.  On wearing a visor.  Career talk.  Being able to play on the Jets in the future.
