Winnipeg Sun:  Fans would boot Pavelec.  It is clear that fans are sick and tired of the status quo in net for the Jets.  Has Pavelec done enough to earn the title as #1?  Jets fans who answered the poll would seem to suggest he has not.  What do you think?

Bloomberg Business: Smartest Spenders in Sports 2014.  The Jets got the Wayne Gretzky ranking as they finished 99th overall out of the 122 sports teams in all four professional leagues.  (Seven NHL teams finished below Winnipeg).  The criteria they used was “how much they spent in player payroll for every win during the last five seasons”.
