Winnipeg Free Press:  Another tweak for MTS Centre?  You can see the work ongoing at MTS Centre as workers are already busy bringing change to the downtown arena.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Maurice signing another good step.  The Jets are sticking to their vision of developing a team that will be a perennial playoff contender not a one and done sort of team.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Four Mo years.  Tim writes about the addition of the new bench boss and how quickly it materialized.

Winnipeg Sun:  Maurice locked up, Cheveldayoff provides state of union.  Ken may be in New York getting ready for the Ranger and Flyers but that still didn’t stop him from providing his thoughts on the signing of coach Maurice and Kevin Cheveldayoff’s state of the union.

Winnipeg Sun:  Paul Maurice back for more.  He left his mark on the team to conclude the 2013/14 season and you know that coach Maurice is relishing the opportunity to whip these players into shape (literally) next season.

Winnipeg Sun:  Maurice, Scheifele join Team Canada.  A young Jets story from Winnipeg to Minsk as Mark Scheifele gets to play some meaningful hockey to end his year after suffering a knee injury back on March 4th against the Islanders.  He will be joined by his coach who it was announced will be an assistant coach with Team Canada.  Coach Maurice will also get a look at Jets on other teams including Trouba and Hellebuyck on Team USA and Olli Jokinen with Finland (although that is not yet confirmed).

Winnipeg Sun:  Ondrej Pavelec will remain Jets’ No. 1 netminder.  It has become a topic that makes pundits outside our market take note and get their twitter sarcasm ready.  As I said on air last night the fact is that the GM and coach are not going to say anything to undercut their goalie at this time.  Does this mean they don’t have reservations?  Of course not but just don’t expect them to air their dirty laundry in the media.

NHL.com:  Returning Maurice set to point Jets in right direction.  More on the signing of the new bench boss.

Metro News:  Opening the door to Winnipeg Jets draft talk.  A look at some of the prospects that may be wearing a Jets jersey when the 9th pick comes up in Philadelphia in June.

TSN:  Rona Roundtable (audio).  Following his chat with the media, GM Cheveldayoff went to the Winnipeg Free Press Cafe and sat with Rick Ralph and Brian Munz for close to an hour answering questions about this franchise.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Paul Maurice conference call (audio).  After the news that the Jets bench boss was signed to a four year deal he spoke with the media during an afternoon conference call.  I broke the audio up into nine parts for ease of listening.

Illegal Curve:  GM Cheveldayoff end of season press conference (audio).  The Jets GM met with the media for almost an hour and the topics ranged from Pavelec as the team’s #1 goalie to draft and develop model and a bunch of other topics relevant to fans.  I broke this audio into twenty parts for ease of listening.
