Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets defeat Coyotes in 2-1 shootout win. Gary assess the game as the five game road trip came to a conclusion in Arizona last night.
Winnipeg Free Press: Status quo won’t do it for Jets. While it is certainly true that the Jets need to make major upgrades to be a contender in this league the question is how do you best go about achieving that result? Would you dangle a young gun like Kane who is continuing to develop but could bring major assets back?
Winnipeg Sun: Lucky Ladd scores shootout winner. The team needed the captain to step up and he did in both regulation and in the shooutout posting the only goals for his team.
Winnipeg Sun: Ugly big picture for Jets. It wasn’t the prettiest game that I’ve ever seen but was it part of a bigger overall problem with this team or simply a bad 20 minute break?
Winnipeg Sun: Fan miffed over team holding season ticket holders deposits. I’d be curious to know how many other NHL franchises operate in such a manner? If the numbers are as suggested then it is a nice little chunk of change that helps the bottom line each year. What do you think? Is it right or wrong of the organization?
TSN: Draft Lottery tracker. After last night’s SO win over the Coyotes the Jets chances of winning the draft lottery “fell” to 3.6%.
