Winnipeg Sun:  Jets brave the stormIt wasn’t pretty but at the end of the day the Jets will take the two points and move on to the next target as coach Maurice has this team believingIt was an unlikely game winning goal scorer last night but Chris Thorburn put home a nice pass by young Jacob Trouba.
Thorburn scores

Winnipeg Sun:  Kudos for TroubaAs I watched the play develop with just over a minute to go I remember thinking “what is he doing?” but clearly the kid’s confidence is justified because he made a great play to put the game on his stick and help get his team the win.  Following the game coach Maurice said this “Great confidence in a young man to want to make the play that decides the game. Not sit back in a tie game”.

TSN:   Jets stay hot with victory over HurricanesFrom his perch high above the ice surface Dennis gives you his observations of the Winnipeg win.

NHL.com:  Jets making West race interestingA late addition to the Afternoon Links yesterday, Former NHL coach turned analyst Barry Melrose discusses the Jets recent run of success.  Of course after both the Jets/Stars won and the Coyotes/Canucks lost last night the playoff picture got even tighter.

Jets 2 Hurricanes 1:

Coach Paul Maurice post-game scrum.  Assessment of the game.  Line match-ups.  The play of Trouba.  More on Trouba.  On Pavelec’s play.  On Chris Thorburn.  Importance of the game, did he sense that prior to the game?  Feel surreal to be back in the building?  Bryan Little’s play.  Keys on 5 on 3 kill.  Feel like he is back in the playoff hunt?
