Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Ken’s Notebook.  Prior to the game kicking off Ken opens up his notepad to provide you with some pre-game insight.

Winnipeg Free Press:  First, you stop losing.  Tough to gain ground at this point in the season.  All you can do is win and hope that those up above you lose.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets look at road trip as opportunity says Trouba.  No point in giving up.  All the Jets can do is keep winning and see where they are left prior to the trade deadline.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets go into Olympic break on high.  This will be a key week in the 2013-14 season as the Jets play four games on the road before heading into the break.

Winnipeg Sun:  Setoguchi sports new look as Jets aviator helmet winner. Ken touches on a couple of items including; Seto’s daft punk helmet, Pavelec gets a vote of confidence, O’Dell as a new dad and around the glass.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets split on Super Sunday.  Thankfully for Jets fans the game will be long over by the time the Superbowl gets started later this evening.  The Jets players given their thoughts on the big game.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum (audio).  Long shifts.  Line changes.  When is the time to address things?  Where are they in his stage of progression (four stages).  Faceoff talk.  How does his team match up against Habs?  Making up ground in the West.  Pavelec talk.  On returning to Carolina.  Slater update.  Postma update.

Canadiens news:

Montreal Gazette:  Subban’s own-goal mars otherwise perfect game for Price.  The Habs played a close game which they lost in OT to Tampa on Saturday.

Montreal Gazette:  Matinee games are fun for Habs and young fans.  Expect a different crowd for today’s game apparently.

IceCaps news:

The Telegram:  IceCaps extend winning streak to five games.  The good time keep on rolling on the farm as the team pulled off another victory on Saturday.
