Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: ‘Bad taste out of our mouth’. Blake Wheeler said the team was chomping at the bit to get back on the ice and remove the stain of the Buffalo loss. They certainly did that but the key will be to maintain this effort in their upcoming back to back games against the Canucks and Oilers.
Winnipeg Free Press: They’ve got the power. One of the keys to winning is taking advantage of your man advantages and the Jets did were quite successful last night.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets give fans early Xmas present. With games like last night the fans inside and out of the MTS Centre must have been longing to be back in the Southeast Division.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets power play kicks into gear. While the Jets certainly took care of their opportunities the Panthers PK isn’t exactly tops in the league (ranked 29th after last night).
TSN: Jets snap home slide and end Panthers win streak. Dennis gives you his insight into last night’s game from his perspective from the broadcast booth.
Jets 5 Panthers 2:
Winnipeg Jets: Ondrej Pavelec, Michael Frolik, Blake Wheeler, Tobias Enstrom & Zach Bogosian.
Florida Panthers: Coach Horachek, Shawn Matthias and Nick Bjugstad.
