Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets losing sales sizzle.  When the team is floundering it is going to be difficult to find someone willing to spend big money on a mid-week game when it is absolutely freezing out.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Glimpses of greatness.  Scheifele’s vision of the ice isn’t questionable but his physical ability is slowly catching up with his skill set.

Winnipeg Free Press:  The Jets’ neutral-zone 1/2/2/ ‘deflector’.  Former player J.P. Vigier breaks down the Jets play in the neutral zone.

Winnipeg Sun:  Speed is key for Scheifele.  It was clear that the coach was showing more faith in the first round pick in the last game as he was given plenty of pp time and responsibility.

Winnipeg Sun:  Evander Kane back on ice for Jets.  Coach Noel seemed to think that Evander would need a few practices with the team before he gets back into the lineup.  We shall see what happens today.  A number of other Jets topics covered including the power play improving, Scheifele watching World Juniors from home, one goal losses and Kane’s joke on Thorburn.

Winnipeg Sun:  Stars game big one for Jets.  Pundits were saying the team needed two or three wins from the three home games the Jets played this past week.  A clean win today is important if they want to salvage this homestand.

Dallas Morning News:  Can Kari Lehtonen slow down former teammates?  Can the former Thrashers tender beat his old squad?

Dallas Morning News:  Several Stars trying to rectify ongoing slumps as clash with Jets awaits.  Anyone remember what happened on Thursday when Matt Duchene came into Winnipeg looking to end his snap?
