Winnipeg Free Press:  Luck be a lady for Jets in NYC.  Sometimes the lucky bounces go your way but you still have to have the ability to put the puck into the back of the net.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Ultimate experience for rookie.  Pure NRG aka John Albert made quite the debut last night on one of the biggest stages in the NHL.  He got off to a rocky start when his line was scored against early but he nicely got his team back into the game with a huge go-ahead goal in the 2nd period.

Winnipeg Sun:  Superb debut for Winnipeg Jets John Albert.  It was a memorable night for him as his first NHL shot in his first NHL game was a memorable partial breakaway goal to put his team ahead.  Making it even more memorable was the fact that his parents and best friend drove up from his hometown of Cleavland, Ohio to take in this first game.
