Jets news:
Forbes: NHL team values. The Jets ranked 16th on the list at 340 million and last amongst the Canadian teams (Toronto – 1, Montreal – 3, Vancouver – 4, Calgary -11, Edmonton – 14, Ottawa – 15).
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets notebook. Looking at Halischuk’s play and good chance to pick up some points on the road.
Winnipeg Free Press: Trouba gets OK to rejoin Jets blue-line corps. Would be nice for the coaching staff to get back to having a fully healthy D contingent.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets need wins on six-game Eastern swing to get into playoff picture. At this point the season is pretty much on the line. This team cannot afford to lose the majority of the games on this road trip. Ken looks at the six opponents the Jets will face.
Winnipeg Sun: Trouba good to go for Jets. The team re-assigned Julian Melchiori yesterday which indicates that Trouba will be ready to go. Coach Noel was cagey about whether his rookie would be playing tonight but it appears the wait is almost over.
Illegal Curve: Jets talk Movember. As the month comes to a close (not soon enough) I had a chance to catch up with the Jets trio (Wright, Tangradi and Stuart) who have been growing their Mos on participating in Movember and what this means to them.
Illegal Curve: Jets audio from IcePlex. Before the team left for NJ, we caught up with Jacob Trouba and Matt Halischuk.
Illegal Curve: Coach Noel scrum. Thoughts going into the longest road trip of the season. Challenge in facing New Jersey. Jacob Trouba’s update. Complacency. Happy with the effort? Difference in style when going East?
IceCaps news:
The Telegram: IceCaps edge Sound Tigers. The Jets farm club is in the midst of their own six game road trip and pulled off a big win after suffering a bad loss the previous game.
Devils news:
Star-Ledger: Cory Schneider could play in Switzerland before career is over. Would be quite a fall for a goalie who had so many expectations thrust upon his shoulders. But before he can worry about that the former Manitoba Moose tender will likely be taking on the Jets tonight in Newark.
