Note: All this month we wanted to bring to your attention the Pass it Forward program which provides help to youth in Winnipeg who wish to play hockey but require aid in getting the necessary equipment. The program is in it’s 5th year, they have a website, an active twitter feed @PassItForwardca, and they are giving away a autographed game used stick. Be sure to check it out.

CBC: Kane in penalty box over unpaid tickets. Obviously ability to pay the tickets wasn’t the issue, but nonetheless the young sniper forgot to pay for his driving infractions.
Winnipeg Free Press: ‘You ain’t seen nothing yet’. Most would say that based on last season we haven’t seen much from Olli Jokinen but as I’ve said numerous times I expect him to bounce back from the disappointment of last year.

In additional ticket news according to Senior Director of Corporate Communications Scott Brown, pre-season tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and will be available through Ticketmaster.
