M.GoBlue.com: The Copp blog. Follow along as 2013 4th round selection Andrew Copp blogs about his experience at Development Camp.
Winnipeg Free Press: Tangradi planning to up his totals. He has the size and the tools but it is past time for the 2nd Round pick of the Ducks from back in 2007 to show a team that he can take it to the next level.
Winnipeg Free Press: Never, ever give up the dream. Every once in awhile a long shot comes in at the track so it never hurts to continue to pursue your dream. Good to hear that he is using hockey to get an education so in case playing professionally doesn’t work out, he will have something solid to fall back on.
Winnipeg Free Press: Sitting pretty between pipes. Always nice to have some depth at goalie. Especially since it takes a bit of time for development.
Winnipeg Sun: Prospect Connor Hellebucyk blazed trail through Texas. Goaltenders take a bit longer than other positions to develop, but it appears that Connor Hellebucyk kick started things off very well last season.
Illegal Curve: Development Camp Day 2 audio. Hear from Jacob Trouba, Adam Lowry, Brenden Kichton and Nic Petan.
Illegal Curve: Jets sign Eric Tangradi to two year deal. Just after the arbitration dates were announced by the NHLPA, the Jets released the news that they had re-signed the Pennsylvania native to a two year deal.
The Telegram: IceCaps should benefit from life of Riley. With most of the focus on the Jets we shouldn’t forget how important it is to have proper depth throughout the organization.
National Post: Ducks sign Dustin Penner to one-year deal. Who says you cannot go home again? The Winkler native will be taking his talents across the way from L.A. to Anaheim.
Chicago Sun Times: Blackhawks trade Daniel Carcillo to Kings for draft pick. If only the Kings had hung on to Ron Hextall, then this Kings team would really look like a West coast Flyers team.
