Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Toronto Sun: Jets jerseys to be unveiled today.  Another day to mark off on your calendar.  Be sure to pay attention to @illegalcurve all day as we (ICdave and mremis) will be live at 17 Wing for the jersey reveal and will be tweeting and interviewing Jets players to get their feedback on the new uniforms.  Here are the 2 counterfeit examples that were seized by the RCMP.  It should be interesting to see how close they are to the real thing.
 

Around the NHL:

Mlive:  Red Wings forward Patrick Eaves, Drew Miller happy to keep grinding.  This is why the Red Wings are always so successful, because they can convince guys to adopt roles and play them perfectly.

CBC:  Flyers’ Holmgren stable after bike crash.  Having seen a few bike crashes in my day, I can attest to the fact that these injuries can be quite horrific.  Sounds like the Flyers’ GM is gonna be ok.

The Tennessean:  Predators revamp glass, boards. Safer for players and better for fans sounds perfect to me.

North Jersey:  Henrik Lundqvist excited about regular season start.  As someone who picked the October 24th Jets game against the Rangers, I too am excited to see King Henrik come to Winnipeg.
