Note: The Jets looked like they were finally ready to put the winless streak behind them. They had leads of 2-0 and 3-2 but right now no lead is safe as the Golden Knights tied the game forcing overtime before winning it in extra time on the power play. The team is scheduled to hold a media availability instead of practicing so check back for that around 12 noon.
Note II: In unfortunate news Haydn Fleury was hospitalized following a brutal collision with the boards, which saw him removed from the ice by stretcher. We learned after the game he had suffered a broken nose and other injuries. He stayed overnight for further tests.
Note III: The Moose will travel to Milwaukee today as they will begin their six-game road trip with a game against their Central division rival.
Note IV: Speaking of prospects with the OHL Trade Deadline coming up on Friday at 11 AM CST there is a good chance Kieron Walton (2024 6th) who is tied for the OHL points lead gets dealt by Sudbury. One of the junior insider accounts (who was right about another Jets prospect Kevin He being dealt) thinks it happens later in the week as the Wolves GM looks to create a bidding war.
