Note: The Jets hit the ice in Winnipeg for a practice on Tuesday as they got set for a tough road trip against Central Division teams starting tonight against the Blues. An optional morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 11:30 AM CST so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest news. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and St. Louis, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 9:40 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose are back on the ice after spending yesterday morning at Siloam Mission helping out the less fortunate in our city. They will practice at 10:30 AM CST. Stay tuned for a Practice Report.

Note IV: Jets prospect Owen Martin (2025 3rd) is heating up. He picked up his 10th and 11th goals of the season for Spokane while adding a primary shorthanded assist. He’s got 6G 4A in his last seven.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets need points, not a miracle, vs. Blues. The talk about the Manitoba Miracle was rather muted as most players seemed to want to leave that in the past. Kinda wild these two teams haven’t played since May 4th, 2025 (which was 227 days ago).

Winnipeg Free Press: Perfetti looking for a St. Louis spark. (Paywall). He’s been getting his name on the scoreboard with three assists in his last four games but it’s clear that 91 is gripping the stick tight these days as he hasn’t scored a goal in his last eight games.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets still in search of consistency outside of top line, Stanley. (Paywall). The headline is quite something. To have gone from being the Presidents’ Trophy winners to one looking for consistency is a shocker. Nobody would be surprised about the top line being consistent. But not one single person would ever have expected Logan Stanley to be there. And yet 64 leads Jets defencemen in goals.

The Athletic Winnipeg: A debate with myself Are the Jets good again or already hopeless? A debate with myself. (Paywall). As someone who occasionally has conversations with himself I can appreciate Murat’s headline. But more to the point he looks at this team that has gotten three points of a possible four and tries to answer the above.

Jets video:

TSN: Crunch time for Winnipeg as the team looks to right the ship. The Jets are looking to head into the Christmas break on a good note. Sitting just five points from the bottom of the league standings, it’s crunch time for last year’s Presidents’ Trophy winners as they look to right the ship and get themselves in a playoff spot. TSN’s Danielle Bain has more.
