Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: The long runway to return for Jets forward Cole Perfetti. Winnipeg Sun: NHL’s Bettman to Jets fans: Why not fill the place? There are 10 teams below Winnipeg in terms of percentage of arena capacity. Of course CLC is the second smallest building in the league. But True North has spent quite a bit of time and resources trying to reverse the trends and it appears to be working

Winnipeg Free Press: Perfetti trying to stay confident during cold streak. (Paywall). Perhaps chatting about it in the media will be just what the doctor ordered for number 91.

Winnipeg Free Press: Hellebuyck one step closer to returning. (Paywall). It was definitely a big moment when he joined his teammates on the ice yesterday to practice.

Winnipeg Free Press: Bettman, Daly address state of the Jets, league. (Paywall). Ken breaks down some of the topics covered in yesterday’s wide-ranging discussion.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Jets finally break up their top line: What we’re seeing and why it might not help. (Paywall). The Jets went with the nuclear option or is this just a level below that since 55 and 81 remain together? Murat shares his thoughts.

Global News: Another loss for Jets, but a glimmer of hope. Paul gives you some insight into what he saw from the club in a loss to one of the juggernauts in the NHL on Tuesday.
