Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: ‘We miss him a lot’: Nik Ehlers’ departure looms large as Jets struggle. Anyone who said his loss wouldn’t be felt wasn’t paying attention.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets grapple with foreign feeling of losing. The Jets had 13 losses as of December 6th. Last season they didn’t have 13 losses until January 18th. Put another way at this point during the 2024-25 season the Jets were 20-8-0. So yes the 2025-26 group have done a whole lot more losing than last year’s club.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets need to play fast, crisper to stop standings free fall. (Paywall). It’s not a question of how they need to play, but do they have the personnel to play that style of game. If the answer is no, can they pivot midseason to try to salvage the campaign?
Winnipeg Free Press: Thrilled to Dom-inate the net. (Paywall). Looks like there is going to be a third NHL debut right around the corner and that’s a good thing to incentive the kids in the system to keep pushing for more.
Global News: Jets continue to flounder one-third of the way into season. It’s been a lot of losing and while there is still plenty of season left the NHL club of Winnipeg needs to get things turned around sooner rather than later.
