Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets have dominated the Wild since March of 2023 winning nine straight against their rival but that ended on Sunday afternoon with the visitors winning 3-0 in a game the home side started well but costly errors were the difference. The game was also costly as Neal Pionk left after the 1st period and did not return. After the game head coach Scott Arniel indicated he was day-to-day. The Jets are off today.

Note II: The Moose were off yesterday after winning their sixth straight game on Saturday afternoon. They will practice today for their morning contest against the Senators on Tuesday. Check back for the Practice Report.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets fire blanks in 3-0 home loss to Wild. Not to play the coulda, woulda, shoulda game but had this play found the back of the net you have to wonder what sort of impact it would have had on the game. 

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets searching for consistency as they fall from playoff position. (Paywall). While I will say that this year, unlike most, there isn’t much seperating the top teams (with exception of the Avs) from those near the bottom, you still don’t want to fall too far back.
