Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets took on former star winger Nikolaj Ehlers and his Hurricanes last night and after starting off in the worst possible way put themselves into a good spot before some inattention to detail cost them a valuable two points. They are scheduled to practice this afternoon at hockey for all centre around 12:45 PM so stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose skated on Friday as they prepared for this afternoon’s re-match with the Wolves. They will be going for their sixth straight victory when the puck drops at 2 PM here in Winnipeg.

Note III: Some monumental news yesterday as we learned that the Jets are shutting down Connor Hellebuyck for a minor arthroscopic knee procedure which will take place today. It is expected he will be out 4-6 weeks. As a result goalie prospect Thomas Milic will get the call from the farm club.

Note IV: We did a Special Edition of Illegal Curve on Friday and we barely scratched the surface of all the news happening in Jetsland which is why having two hours to discuss on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show will allow us to delve deep into all the news surrounding the NHL clubs of Winnipeg.
