Note III: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Calgary, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 11:10 PM CDT.

Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Jets flying high on the ‘special’ portion of special teams. Having a Top 5 power play isn’t a shocker (although it is impressive given the loss of Ehlers to free agency and Cole Perfetti to injury) given what they did last year but having a penalty kill that is Top 5 without Adam Lowry and Dylan Samberg is pretty, pretty, pretty shocking.

Winnipeg Sun: ‘Stan’ the man scores once and sets a career-high in goals during a season. Who would have predicted that the only Jets Dman with a goal after five games would be Big Stan.
Winnipeg Free Press: Scheifele’s dominant early season making strong Olympic case. (Paywall). Hard to ignore what number 55 has done in just five games.
