Note: It was another busy day of Jets training camp in Winnipeg on Friday. We heard from Gustav Nyquist (watch here), Cole Perfetti (watch here) and head coach Scott Arniel (watch here). Big focus on the impact of the Manitoba Miracle although team co-owner Mark Chipman provided a pretty emphatic answer to a question on the mind of many Jets fans when it comes to the long-term future of Kyle Connor. Note II: Jets Fan Fest at hockey for all centre (which does require a free ticket to get into). Doors open at 9 AM. Kevin Cheveldayoff is set to speak at 9:15 AM and then a player will speak at 9:30 AM. Group 1 and 2 will skate at 10 AM and then have a scrimmage at 10:50 AM while Group 3 hits the ice at 11 AM. They will also be doing an interview with a Moose player (12:15 PM) and coaches (12:30 PM) interviews followed by another Jets player at 12:45 PM and head coach Scott Arniel at 1 PM.
Note III: We are also be broadcasting a live edition of the Illegal Curve Hockey Show from 9 AM to 11 AM. Joining us will be play-by-play voice Paul Edmonds and Jets Sr Host/Producer Sara Orlesky.
