Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Jonathan Toews blending in with the Jets. It was quite something to hear from a player with his laundry list of accomplishments be so humble. He sounded more like a young kid joining a new team rather than a former Conn Smythe winner and three-time Stanley Cup champ.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets captain hits the ice in milestone after hip surgery. (Paywall). Slow and steady wins the race as he continues to rehab and while having patience isn’t the easiest of virtues the big Albertan is taking his time to ensure he doesn’t suffer any setbacks.
TSN: Hellebuyck staying level as potential big season dawns: ‘I think expectations kill’. The fact is this team knows they will be judged based on what happens in the playoffs.
