Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The NHL Draft concluded yesterday with Winnipeg making four selections to add to their prospects pipeline. For the complete recap of all things done by the Jets in Los Angeles check out this post here.

Note II: The non-Draft related news from Saturday involved the signing of Haydn Fleury by Winnipeg to a two-year contract. Not a big surprise given how he expressed his desire to stay in Winnipeg at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.

Note III: Today is the calm before the storm as this week is going to be a whirlwind. Tomorrow is the final day to send qualifying offers to RFAs, it’s the start of the Jets Development Camp (we know the schedule and will likely learn the full roster today) which runs until Friday and then Tuesday is Free Agency and we will learn (if we don’t sooner) if Nikolaj Ehlers is gonna stay or go.
