Note II: Speaking of Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff we learned on Friday that he had been named a finalist for the Jim Gregory GM of the Year Award for just the second time in his career. We also learned yesterday that former Jets/Moose winger Axel Jonsson-Fjallby has signed a three year deal in Sweden with Brynäs IF.

Global News: Jets have grown into a very good team, but changes must come. While they did win a Presidents’ Trophy and did make it past the first round they do know that in order to get to the very top of the mountain more will need to happen and that requires some changes.
