Note: We’ve got two days of end of season media availability for the Jets including with 13 player interviews as well as with the coach/GM that can be found here.
Note II: Yesterday, we wrote about the organization being pleased with the development of Jets prospect Elias Salomonsson as well as the ‘wait and see approach’ when it comes to draft pick Dmitry Rashevsky.
Note III: Over at the World Hockey Championships in Denmark it felt a bit Jets esque as Nikolaj Ehlers tied the quarter final game with this seeing eye wrist shot in the 3rd period with Winnipeg play-by-play voice Dan Robertson on the call and with Kevin Sawyer providing colour.
Jets news:
NHL.com: Winnipeg hopes to re-sign Ehlers to new contract. I would be in the camp who didn’t expect him to sign back with Winnipeg but I will say that it seems like the tenure of the conversation has changed slightly so maybe it’s more of a toss up than I earlier gave it credit.
NHL.com: Arniel: “We still have more to do”. He’s only made it up part of the mountain and there is a long way to go before they reach the goal.
Sportsnet: Family matters: Jets’ strong chemistry can keep pushing team forward. A very different end of season vibe this year. This group remains hungry.
